I would add screenshots for this post, but the servers are down and I forgot to take them prior to this post. I would like to start off this blog post with something from BlogAzeroth.com:
I am a pack rat. I seriously am. On my old account, I have so many keepsakes that I actually had to get rid of some of them *sadface* to make more room for other keepsakes. My new account isn’t so bad because I am filling my bank space with other items to level my professions on other toons. One particular item that I have on my old account, that I just recently got on my new account is my Benediction Staff. I love that staff. Back when I was playing my undead Priest, if you got this staff, it meant you were awesome at your job. When I got my staff on my undead priest with a guild that I absolutely love, it meant a lot to me. It made me feel confident that I was a good healer and people in the raid knew I had earned this staff. Shortly after that though, too many noobs were getting it. I still have it on my [old] priest at level 80 sitting in her bank. This staff just had so many memories glued to it that I just couldn’t bear to get rid of it. I recently got the staff on my [new] priest because I missed seeing it in my bank or inventory. Now I do Wintergrasp with it on. So if you see a Blood elf priest [or anyone] using Benediction, it’s probably me 😛
There’s also my ‘Drakefire Amulet‘ from completing the quest chains to get attuned for Onyxia back in Vanilla. You don’t need it to get into Onyxia now, but I like the idea that I was there when you HAD to do the quest chain to enter Onyxia. I also still have my ‘Onyxia Scale Cloak‘ that was made by my first guild leader [Dankmonkey] who quit the game. I also have many other items like the ‘Brazier of Dancing Flames‘, ‘The Worg Disguise‘, ‘Commander’s Badge‘, ‘Argent War Horn‘, A bunch of ‘Darkmoon Special Reserve‘. These items are just items that I thought were really cool. The Benediction staff, Gold Wedding Band given by my hubby, and my Onyxia Scale Cloak are my most prized possession though.
