Possible Spoilers from Diablo 3!
So as you all probably have guessed, I have been playing Diablo 3 for the past couple of weeks. Am I loving the game? Yes. Yes I am. I am not ashamed to admit it. I had planned to make a post sooner, but never did it. Better late than never, I suppose. I have officially defeated Diablo 3 in Hell mode and now have a level 60 Wizard. Woot! Am I happy with it? For now, yes. I am not geared enough to do Inferno by myself. So as painful as it is, I have doing Inferno with a couple of friends. Is it really bad as they say it is? There’s a reason why I came up with the title for this post.
The game is definitely a lot more fun when you are playing with other people. It is still fun playing the game solo, but it can go very slow. When I was working on Hell Mode, getting the amount of experience to fill a bar was…a bit tedious. When a bunch of my friends randomly joined my game, it seemed I got a bar of experience in about 10 minutes. Granted that two of the people actually have farmed Act 4 in Inferno, but it still went by pretty fast. As soon as I hit level 60, I decided to check out the auction house. Even though it is super easy to get gold in Diablo 3, the prices in the Auction House are ridiculous! I was pushing about 410K gold, which to me is A LOT. According to the Auction House, it’s not. I still was about to buy a few pieces though. I also figured I needed more than 10K DPS to kill stuff in Inferno. I also had no idea where to begin on gear/spec so I could be able to do Inferno. I did a bit of research as well as trial and error, and so far…it’s hard. The closest thing to my playstyle and have the ability to kill stuff in Inferno without dying or getting the Out of Time Debuff was Arktem’s guide that he made on the Diablo 3 forums. At first, this build didn’t work for me. I was able to kill stuff rather quickly, but the Champions were having a field day with me. I got a bit frustrated so I decided to log off and take a break away from the computer. When I came back, I joined a friend’s game on Inferno Difficulty only then was this spec was great!
Holy Moly! This is a long post. Hmm. Guess I’ll save my post for the breakdown of my Wizard’s build for tomorrow…If you can’t wait, it’s basically Arktem’s Build….but with a few tweaks for my playstyle.
