The Release of D3…

Hello All,

So the release for Diablo 3 happened approximately 2 days ago, and I am currently addicted to it. Unfortunately the Battle.Net servers are down, so I decided to write a post about experience in Diablo 3. For my first “hero”, I made a female wizard and she’s currently almost level 20. She’s awesome, and I love her. After killing a bunch of mobs, she says my thoughts out loud with “I’m so good. I astound myself.” I burst into laughter every time. I also haven’t been playing as much Diablo 3 as I would like to, because I am currently sharing my laptop with my husband so he is able to play the game too. His laptop’s processor and video card is not supported by Diablo 3. With the help of MaxFreak’s tweaks and lowering my husband’s resolution to 800×600 though, he was able to play the game! There is still some major lagg though. Needless to say, we were tempted to buy a new computer but decided to wait until we had some income. Until then my husband and I would take turns playing Diablo 3 on my laptop, which runs Diablo 3 with ease. ^_^ Makes me feel great knowing how much I spend and that I’m able to run Diablo 3 smoothly, while some of my other peers cannot run it at all after spending over $1,500 on their machines.

As far as Diablo 3 goes, I am currently loving the game. There are some features that I wish it had (such as changing the text size, and a toggle to disable Windows Key…) and I wish Blizzard would get their minions all in line and not shut down the servers so much, other than that I have no problems with Diablo 3. I usually am not the kind of person that gets too much into the overall lore/story of the game. The lore/story in Diablo 3 is very intriguing, and it makes me wish I knew the story in the first two Diablo games. Heck, it almost makes me want to read the novels. I also love how if you join a game as a single player, you have the option to have a “follower” or an NPC that follows you around and assists you. The best part is you get to choose the NPC! (After unlocking them through quests). Oh yes, I cannot wait to get to max level 60 and see how it is ^_^ I have also crossed paths with Leoric’s Shinbone and Liquid Rainbow which is two of the many items needed for unlocking Whimsyshire (The Secret Cow Level). **Note to self: Don’t throw away items without checking to see what they are first. ** I also ran across Wirt’s Bell, but you have to purchase it for 100K gold. I have nowhere near that much gold. /sadface.

Anyways, Sunday is my son’s 4th birthday. We got our above-ground swimming pool up and I am excited to show off my son’s swimming skills! He’s like a little Nemo! Hopefully, it won’t rain the next couple of days and we’ll be able to swim in it by my son’s birthday! Ok. back to Diablo 3 for me.

Future Releases & Dragon Nest…

Hello All,

Seeing as how I am awake at 5AM after going to bed at 8pm, I decided to write a short post about my recent adventures in Dragon Nest. Before I get into that topic, I would like to mention that I am super excited for the release of Diablo 3 next week on the 15th! Who’s excited? This girl! I have so many games that I want to try out this year: Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, and WoW: Mists of Pandaria!

*In reference to my little image* Oh,when will I ever find the time to fully appreciate these games! Instead of playing World of Warcraft lately, I have been playing Dragon Nest with my friend Damian! Playing a male cleric or a female sorceress, while my friend Damian plays his level 30 male cleric. I haven’t even downloaded the Mists of Pandaria Beta! Even though school has been out for a full week, I feel as though I’m still preoccupied. Not to mention adding serious dedication to potty training my son to my list.

On a different note, I recently finished my Fushigi Yuugi series! This would be my 3rd time finishing the series since I first found out about it in High school 10 years ago! Woot! I absolutely love that series so much! I still don’t know who my favorite character is, but lots of my friends tell me I am like Miaka, which is why I chose that name as a persona in some games, such as World of Warcraft and Dragon Nest!

Speaking of Dragon Nest…

Left: My Cleric, Miaca. Right: Damian's Cleric

My Sorceress: Miahca

I haven’t decided which toon I put focus on more. I’m definitely liking my sorceress a bit more because of the dependency and effects of her magic spells, but I am SO much better on the cleric. I tend to lean towards the melee aspect of my cleric, instead of spells. I’m also digging how my sorceress has purple hair! ^_^ Anyways, I think I shall play some Dragon Nest before my son wakes up to start off my day.

Spring 2012 Semester…

Warning!

Warning: Excessive use of happy faces ^_^. It’s a happy post though!

Hello All,

I am very happy to report that I finished this year’s Spring Semester classes with ALL A’s! I was paranoid a bit with Humanities on whether or not I was going to get an A in the class. I was 0.8 points away from dropping down an overall A in the class into a B+. Luckily though, I did enough studying to get a B+ on my Final which made me keep my A! Woot! ^_^ My Math Final was a bit surprising. No matter what I did, I could not get any solutions that were part of the multiple choices on some of the questions, so I had to guess on a few of them. Not to mention the Bonus question was one of those problem-solving situations. I still got an A on that Final though ^_^

What are my plans for this summer? Just praying and hoping that I get into my Medical Coding/Billing program! I’m pretty sure I will, but it is very nerve-racking waiting for confirmation. Planning on getting an above ground pool and setting it up. My son has been wanting to learn how to swim. Hard to believe he’ll be turning 4 years old on the 20th. I might work out during this summer. I can feel my son getting heavier and heavier every day, and I am struggling to even pick him up anymore. Overall, I am very happy at the moment ^_^ I’ve been skyping with friends a lot more, finished with all A’s in my courses, watching Anime, playing with my son. Life is good right now.

Hopefully, I will be able to purchase a copy of Diablo 3! Until then, I’ll be keeping busy playing Starcraft 2 and maybe some World of Warcraft. Speaking of which, I don’t remember dividing up attention so challenging back in High School. My husband has been wanting me to play more Starcraft 2 with him, my brother wants me to play PvP with him in WoW or play League of Legends with him, my guildies want me to raid. Not to mention give attention to my son. *Dizzy*

Sorry to cut it short, but my son has a play date in about 2 hours. I have to start getting ready! OH OH! the Avengers movie this weekend!

In Theaters: May 4th, 2012!

Oh yes. I’m so excited for this movie! I just hope that it’s an awesome movie, and it won’t disappoint me like the movie “The Expendables” did!
